GBP pay-in issues

If you are having trouble funding a GBP source transfer, this may be the reason:


If you have recently created your Atlantic Money account and are unable to fund your transfer, even after correctly filling in the beneficiary field with your own name (and selecting 'personal' as the account type if needed), there is a good chance that your bank has not yet refreshed its internal list of UK payment accounts. In order to allow you to pay a new beneficiary, your bank must be aware that your Atlantic Money account has now been created, and this can take some time on their side. 


Data syncs typically take place every few minutes, but it may take up to the following morning at 9:30am in some rare instances.


Once this last step is complete, you should be able to fund your transfer without any problems.
