Sending AUD

Important Note: AUD transfers can only be made to a valid Australian bank account located within Australia.

Recipient Information:

To add an AUD recipient, you'll need the following details:

  • Recipient's full name: As it appears on their bank account.

  • BSB (branch and state branch code): 6-digit number identifying their bank branch.

  • Account number: 5-9 digit number unique to their account.

Double-checking information:

  • Account number and BSB: Ensure they match the recipient's bank account details exactly. Any discrepancy in this information may cause delays or result in an unsuccessful transfer.

  • No dashes, spaces, or zeros: Enter the account number and BSB without any separators or additional characters.

Finding the information:

  • Bank statement: The statement usually includes the account details.

  • Online banking: Account details can typically be accessed through your online banking app. However, it is crucial to double-check and accurately copy the details into your Atlantic Money app.

  • Physical cheque: If available, use a physical cheque for accurate BSB and account number.
    - BSB number: The 6-digit number between the ⑆ and ⑉ symbols. Note: If the number does not contain six digits, you can try adding leading zeros.
    - Account number: Follows the BSB on the cheque, after the ⑆ symbol and before the ⑈ symbol. Enter the full number without any spaces, dashes, or full stops.

Please note the following:

If you're unsure about any information, we highly recommend contacting the recipient or recipient bank to verify the account details prior to initiating the transfer.

The recipient bank may charge a fee for processing incoming transfers. We recommend contacting them directly to confirm if this is the case.
